Tailored jacket, linen cotton herringbone reconstruction

The linen-cotton sugiaya, woven with such delicate finesse that it appears to have been done by hand, is an original textile that was designed by the designer himself in Oshu.
The beautiful color of the core, which is not completely dyed and appears when the yarn is untwisted after dyeing, fades from black to lighter gradations, revealing a color reminiscent of the night sky in places.

This season's new jacket is made by cutting off each individual part and connecting the cut sections with fabric from the back, allowing the lining to be seen when it moves.

By making the collar seamlessly from the fabric of the front body, there is no gorge line, and by eliminating the stiffness that is typical of lapel collars, the collar stands up softly.
What's more, the shoulders and collar are hand-sewn to create an uneven look that is meant to be decorative.

I always think to myself, "How can someone come up with such a time-consuming idea? I'm sure they'll regret it later."
