YUTA MATSUOKA

From the design to the pattern, cutting, sewing and prototype production, she does it all by herself, and if time permits, she even makes the final finishing touches all by herself.
While he is involved in every step of the clothing making process himself, he works closely with artisans from his atelier set up near trusted factories for production, and is passionate about every step of the process.
The original textiles were developed in the weaving shops of Oshu, the designer's hometown, The materials he personally selected from various locations are so detailed that you can really feel his passion for the fabric.
The pieces exude artistry but are also tailored to be worn for a long time without any fuss, and despite their beautiful, ephemeral and melancholic appearance, they have been created as modern real clothes.
